Vibrant Colors
After four years of graduate school, I am so fortunate to have formed close bonds with my classmates. I did not know a soul when I sat down in the classroom on the first day of orientation. It was fate that my future best friend would sit next to me. Being the person that I am, I immediately introduced myself and felt an immediate connection as if I had known her for years. I am lucky to say that I have found a best friend during pharmacy school who has been there for me personally as well as professionally.
I am also fortunate to have been apart of the "Dream Team." The four of us (including my bestie) organized and executed a three day conference, in which there were over 350 attendees from all over the nation. You would think organizing a conference while being in school, working, and having a life would cause the relationship with each other to strain; however, it only made us stronger and we are pretty much inseparable (texting each other nonstop on Groupme) to this day.
Last weekend, our class got a VIP room to celebrate our four years of hard work. Being with the colleagues for 4 years, I have seen them relentlessly studying or entering the classroom in the morning zombie like due to 2 hours of sleep. It was a complete 180 at the party; everyone was dressed to impressed and the highlight of the night was being in a group and just laughing/dancing the night away.
I know that others are ecstatic to graduate, pay off loans, but I actually get teary eye thinking that another chapter of my life is closing.
Sorry for the sappiness....Maybe my vibrant colors will change up the tone.
Below is what I wore during the day...I took off the jacket and changed into more comfortable booties for the night.
